SKIRT! Magazine “Shannon McDevitt Plays Well With Others”

Shannon came to Charleston a few years ago to escape the snow and parking tickets she left behind in Boston. After working for an Office Space-like boss, she waved bye-bye to working for the man and started her own companies, Just Humor Me and Socially Savvy.

“Both of these businesses were really founded in my heart as a child”, says Shannon.

“I truly thought the greatest thing on earth was to make someone laugh.” As a Certified Laughter Leader, Shannon now brings the fun to where it often isn’t: corporate boardrooms, schools, offices, and agencies. “A sense of humor is one of the tops things we admire about someone in business and personal relationships. I show kids what adults have to teach them and inspire adults to do ridiculous things so they laugh like kids.
